Here to help you breathe easier.

Kelly Fines, LCSW

Kelly graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has spent the past ten years working in the mental health field, gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings—including inpatient psychiatric care and school social work—which has shaped her understanding of how deeply our experiences, environments, and emotions influence our well-being.

Kelly strives to create a warm, calming space where clients feel safe, accepted, and able to breathe a little easier. Her therapeutic style is grounded in a client-centered approach, integrating CBT, trauma-focused CBT, DBT-informed strategies, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to support each person’s unique needs.

Kelly enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults, and considers it an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward healing. She looks forward to meeting you and supporting your journey—one steady, intentional breath at a time.
